JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS 2005

Junior (Born1987 and later) –Hailsham, Croydon Amphibians Watford

Only three teams entered this year, but all three teams were closely matched. Two tournaments were played and, as usual, the team with the greatest commitment came out on top. This year Hailsham, built on there improvement from last year and took the title comfortably, and unbeaten.

UNDER 15 CHAMPIONSHIPS 2005

Under 15 (born 1991 and later) – Hailsham, Watford, Croydon Amphibians

Sutton &Cheam, Chelmsford, Worthing

The league was played over four tournaments all well attended and with some closely matched games. Croydon Amphibians were very strong and remained unbeaten in all 10 games, to take the title. Worthing, a new entry this year, was the next best team and were well ‘drilled’, winning 8 games. Chelmsford and Sutton were evenly matched as were Hailsham and Watford which led to some close games throughout the competition. Many of the players from these teams have two or three more years at this age group.
