The National League Division 2 programme for this season has been completed and Croydon has finished 4th, see following results sheets: Week 5 Division 2 Results and Table Week 4 Division 2 Results and Table Week 3 Division 2 Results and Table Week 2 Division 2 Results, Table & News Week 1 Division 2 Results, Table & News Other News RESULTS AND STATISTICS for 2009 summer season (Seniors) follow: The CASC Senior First team has retained the Surrey League 1st Division title beating Sutton & Cheam and Avondale over the season. CASC has now won Surrey Division 1 and Surrey Division 2, and the London League Premier Division, and runners-up in Division 1. London League 2009 Tables Surrey League Results 2009 CASC II beat WLPenguin II 9-8, our last senior game in the summer London League Division 1. We have finished 2nd in the league table, link below, which is an excellent result to go with the 1st team finishing top of the Premiership. Last Season's National League Division 3 Champions! Our last weekend of National League water polo for 2009 produced another 2 wins from 2 games which retains top spot, 100% record for the season and promotion to Division 2 for next season. Due to illness and unavailablity we did not play any of our games at full strength, however with our squad players stepping up there performances we defeated Birmingham 13 - 9 and City of Leeds 14 -13. The Leeds game was particularly pleasing. We played at 9.30 on Sunday morning and started a little slowly after a late night ! We eventually took the lead 12 - 11 in the first minute of the last quarter, but then lost 2 goals to go 12 - 13 down, before grabbing 2 return goals by Jack and Nat to take the lead 14- 13 with 3 minutes to go.
